We are recruiting for a Finance Manager
Job Title: Finance Manager
Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 FTE - 15 hours per week (flexible working considered)
Location: Home-based with occasional travel to Woking, Surrey (and surrounds) for meetings
About the role:
The Finance Manager acts as the organisation’s finance lead, ensuring Appeer’s financial health, sustainability, and compliance.
This role combines hands-on financial administration (payroll, VAT, bookkeeping, grant tracking) with strategic financial management (budgeting, forecasting, risk oversight, Board reporting).
The postholder will work closely with the CEO, Business Manager, and Finance Committee to provide timely, accurate information and trusted advice to support good governance and long-term sustainability.

We are recruiting for Designated Safeguarding Lead
Job Title: Designated Safeguarding Lead
Salary: £28,350 FTE - 12 hours per week (40 weeks, Term-time +2 weeks)
Location: Primarily at home with some time on location in Woking, Surrey, and surrounds, for Sessions and Training
About the role:
The Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) is a member of the team at Appeer that takes lead responsibility and management for all safeguarding matters that effect our young people, parents, and staff by providing support and guidance on issues, procedures and training that relate to safeguarding.
The DSL will work across all levels of the organisation supporting and working with Deputy Designated Safeguarding Leads (DDSL) as well as facilitators and senior management team. They will be working with young people, parents and liaising with professionals from external agencies such as Local authorities and schools.
