Overview of this Session


Summer can be a tricky time our community whether you are a parent/carer or a young person.  The change in the weather and routine can cause dysregulation and anxiety.  The first/pilot Online "Ask Casey" Session will be all about the Summer and how this can affect autistic girls and women. Casey will share some of her lived experience, including the strategies she uses to cope in the Summer, and answer any questions you may have.  The session will take place on Zoom.


The session will include :


  • A talk by Casey about the Summer
  • Casey's lived experience strategies and tools
  • Question and Answer section via the chat tool
  • Further signposting


Who is the talk for?


The talk is for parents and carers of young people assigned female at birth) aged 10-18 AND autistic young women over 18.


Date and Time: 7-830 pm, 2nd July 2025

 

What do I need for the session?


To attend this session you may need notepad and pen.  The session will be like a webinar so you will not need your camera or microphone on.


What is the cost? £10 per ticket (£5 concessions)


This session will be on Zoom AND WILL BE RECORDED but your face, voice and the chat will not be visible so it remains a safe space for attendees.

Please try to arrive promptly as if you are more than 15 minutes late, you may not be admitted to the session.
